    Burger & Lobster is positioned as a fast growing niche brand in the highly competitive fast-casual dining sector. Burger & Lobster provides a fun and quirky dining experience, championed by a boldly simplistic menu.

    The task, build social media engagement, boost online presence and create social buzz to encourage new diners through their doors. To create a new and fresh social media strategy - including market research and content strategy - in order to appeal to target audiences and reinforce brand values.

    Following market analysis and audience targeting, as a team, we sought to develop a content strategy with food at its heart and a strong focus on participation.

    Direct interaction with users, accompanied by strong creative and a casual, humorous tone was aimed at promoting engagement and reinforcing Burger & Lobster brand values.  Sharing topical content across a range of interests sought to help Burger & Lobster tap into the London zeitgeist and consolidate their position as one of the capitals most exciting restaurants.

  3. The Result


    Following the implementation of the new content strategy, Burger & Lobster saw a substantial rise in daily engagement across social channels.

    On Twitter, @mentions rose by 105 percent and retweets saw a 566 percent increase while on Facebook link acquisition increased by 60 percent. Overall social media activity and engagement resulted in a 29 percent improvement in Burger & Lobsters’ Klout Score, recording social media influence.
