    The Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Trust engaged Avenue Digital’s SEO team to support with the development and optimisation of their new website for Sexual Health Services.

    The objectives were to split the new site out from old NHS Trust website, creating a dedicated and SEO enhanced platform for Sexual Health Services. The client’s goals were to make it easier for patients to find local clinics, promoting their range of services and increasing online orders.

  2. The Solution

    Avenue were delighted to be appointed by the CNWL NHS Trust to design and develop an Umbraco solution for the sexual health service.

    Avenue crafted a user focused UX process and on brand design interface to help direct the different audience types to find the right solution for them, be it emergency contraception, a visit to a clinic or to request a self testing kit.

    Our SEO team worked with the web design team to create an SEO friendly website, supported by an extensive keyword and meta data project to enhance site content.

    Using local SEO techniques, we optimised clinic pages to ensure they maximised reach locally. We also worked closely with the CNWL NHS Trust to optimise their Google My Business listing for each of the clinics.

  3. The Result

    Impact

    The Umbraco based application has been driven by an effective SEO strategy which has received a vast traffic increase. Organic page views rose by 270% and bounce rate dropped by 55%. In addition to this growth in brand awareness and engagement, the client benefited from improved local rankings and online interactions for their clinics, and increased online orders.

    The website continues to deliver exceptional easy service to the end user and traffic continues to flourish.
