    Peter Jones is one of Britain’s most popular entrepreneurs with a proven business track record and a growing portfolio of investments in dynamic ventures.

    The brief was to deliver a robust e-commerce solution for “The Peter Jones Collection” - a range of business apparel as worn by Peter Jones on Dragon's Den. The key challenge was capturing the essence of the brand in a creative showcase, whilst catering for the eCommerce platform requirements and driving conversion to sale.

    Using fresh and modern photography, the design worked hard to deliver an intuitive journey through the purchasing process. Running alongside this, a range of simple but impactful key templates were created to present the product categories and encourage users to browse and purchase.

    “The Peter Jones Collection” was delivered on the award-winning Avenue CMS e-commerce platform. This was perfect for the requirement to allow scalability and flexibility, and the e-commerce platform allowed us to seamlessly integrate with the payment gateway and warehousing API, to deliver an end to end solution.

    Impact

    “The Peter Jones Collection” website was rolled out in December 2010. The website enjoyed high organic traffic volumes since launch, with Peter Jones' Twitter conversations driving further spikes. Conversions were above the industry standard during the launch period and reached nearly 6.5%. In fact, the website sold out of his stripey socks in just 48 hours!
